DJI released a video onto its social media accounts with the title “Up Your Game” with April 27th being the date of the event. The event is likely going to be the launch of the DJI Mavic Air 2,.
DJI will release the new Mavic Air 2 Drone. And it will bring many optimization and improvement. Rumors that DJI Mavic Air 2 will equipped with dedicated transmission signal system and enhanced WiFi transmission system. Before it released, let’s we do a largely speculation about it.
The biggest issue of Mavic Air we want to be fix is the connectivity an firmware. Thus, we can enjoy it and the user experience be enhanced.

According to DJI Mavic Air specification, below are what we want to see on the DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone

- 4K video (framerate not confirmed yet)
- Top speed 68.4 km/h
- Maximum flight time 34 minutes
- 1080p Image Transmission to Smartphone
- OcuSync 2.0
- 8km range
The biggest improvements, assuming these specs turn out to be true, come in the sensor’s capabilities and the drone’s flight time. The original Mavic Air could only stay up for 21 minutes at a time, and the previous 1/2.3-inch sensor could only capture 32MP stitched panoramas.
